Vision Gains is a measurement tool for tracking vision health over time.
Using facial recognition technology, this app can measure distance-to-blur, which can be used to approximate myopia and astigmatism levels.
This app can also be used to estimate astigmatism axis angles using directional blur.Currently the app only offers taking measurements without saving.
The ability to save measurements, plot history, and export data will be available as a premium feature in a future update.One use case for this app is for individuals trying to improve vision.
While this app doesnt contain any features to improve vision directly, it can be used to roughly track long-term improvements to myopia or astigmatism.
Note that this app does not make any scientific or medical claims about whether such vision improvement is possible.Measurements are only approximate and are not appropriate for ordering glasses or contacts.
